Inc. is a third party simulator provider of
AWR Microwave Office.
The seamless integration allows the transfer of geometry, electrical
material properties and simulation results between the AWR Design
Environment and Zeland IE3D. An EM Socket is implemented to link the
IE3D simulation engine and MGRID to the Microwave Office 2004 of Applied
Wave Research. IE3D is an excellent EM simulator. However, it does not have
a strong support on circuit simulation (especially non-linear circuit
simulation) and it does not have system level simulation. The Microwave
Office 2004 (MWO) of Applied Wave Research has an excellent circuit
simulator and system simulator in an object oriented interface. You can
invoke IE3D 11 engine in the same way as the EMSight simulator from MWO. The
IE3D 11 engine will perform the simulation in the background as if it is a
built-in EM simulator. Users of IE3D 11 and MWO 2004 can access the two
excellent simulators in a consistent way. | |
